Professor Jessie Gordon MacCarthy Memorial Scholarship
The award is made to the student who having completed the penultimate year of any undergraduate Health Science course best combines academic excellence, demonstrated interest and leadership in the field of Community Health. Activities in the years immediately preceding admission to UBC may be considered as well as activities carried out while an undergraduate. The recipient is chosen by a committee, appointed by the Principal of the College of Health Disciplines. Financial need may be considered but shall be subordinate to aptitude and interest.
