To benefit a student who demonstrates strong academic credentials and shows good character, motivation to serve and succeed and commitment to the community, evidenced through leadership in school, civic and extra-curricular activities. Applicants will be required to include an essay (up to 500 words) describing how they fulfill the criteria and a critique (up to 250 words) of the strengths and weaknesses they have found with their first year of study in Malaspina's Engineering program, and provide ideas for improvement.
