AMABILE GIACOMAZZI ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP IN PROFESSIONAL COOK TRAINING
AVAILABLE TO: A graduating student in the UCFV Professional Cook Training program.
CRITERIA:
1. The recipient will have completed the program and received high marks in his/her studies,
2. The recipient will submit a letter that outlines:
-How they have demonstrated the skills, attitudes, leadership, and the potential to become an exceptional professional chef
-How they intend to use the award, and
-What their career aspirations are
3. The recipient will need to provide two Letters of Reference. At least one letter of reference will need to be from an instructor of the Professional Cook Training program.
Malaspina University-College Entrance Scholarships
Awards, $1,000 - $2,000; awarded for excellence; available to students graduating from each Regional High Schools entering Malaspina University-College in any post-secondary program. Apply to Financial Aid & Awards office by March 15. Funds awarded as a tuition credit for the fall term.
Carol Matthews Community Service Award
1 award, $300; for continuing students in Human Services programs, who demonstrate exceptional commitment to community involvement, community service, and leadership qualities and skills. No application necessary. Funds awarded as a tuition credit for the fall term.
Horosko Scholarships
2 awards, $500 each; for academic achievement in mathematics, to first or second year students continuing with studies in math or science at Malaspina University-College. No application necessary. Funds awarded as a tuition credit for the fall term.
Commerce 1953 Scholarship
Established by classmates to commemorate the 35th anniversary of their graduation. Awarded, on the basis of high academic standing, by the Faculty of Management Scholarships Committee to a student having completed at least one year in the Bachelor of Commerce program. Value: $2,000.
