A $1,000 scholarship is offered by the Vernon Film Society to a full-time student who has completed one or more years in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Visual Arts Program, specializing in film, video or advanced media and has demonstrated academic excellence. The award is made on the recommendation of the Visual Arts Program at The University of British Columbia Okanagan, with preference given to students from the North Okanagan.
