Dave and Debbie Barron have established an annual award in memory of Taylor McCowan. The $1,000 bursary is for a student entering the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program at the Kalamalka Campus of Okanagan College with an intended career goal of becoming an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. The recipient must be a permanent resident of Canada, with preference given to a resident of British Columbia. Selection of the award recipient will be based solely on financial need.
