Conditions: Awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing entering, transferring, or continuing in an undergraduate or graduate degree program who are members of the Golden Bears or Pandas Ice Hockey teams. Recipients will be selected on the basis of excellence in hockey, contributions made to hockey on and off the ice, demonstrated leadership and/or potential shown to develop as significant contributors to the Golden Bears and Pandas programs, and academic standing.
Selection is based on academic standing in secondary school and/ or post-secondary studies. Other factors may be taken into consideration such as participation in school activities, community involvement and demonstrated leadership qualities.
