AVAILABLE TO: A UCFV student who has successfully completed the first year of studies directly after graduating from an Abbotsford high school. Applicants must be full-time and entering their second year of a degree program.
STIPULATIONS: The award will be based on a combination of high academic standing (minimum 3.0 GPA) and financial need. Applicants are required to fill out the budget section of the Scholarship application. Applications must be accompanied by a letter outlining the applicant's educational and career goals, and include any relevant evidence of community involvement, leadership or other extra curricular accomplishments. Two letters of reference are required from persons qualified to support the application. Applicants must be Canadian citizen or landed immigrant.
Value: $1,000/ea. Recipients: 1st-year students enrolled in any undergraduate program, on the basis of academic standing (min. 80%) in an Ontario secondary school (in six OACs or U/M courses).
