CRITERIA
Candidates must be students in their final year of study in a secondary school who will be seeking admission into first-year undergraduate study at York University in any discipline. Candidates must possess a minimum admission average of 90% and will have other accomplishments such as leadership in community service, achievement in arts or sports, or excellence in other areas of individual endeavour which demonstrate the wholeness of the person and grace of character. Please note that only Canadian citizens/permanent residents/protected persons are eligible for these awards.
An applicant must meet one of the following criteria: An Aboriginal person who is registered as a client with the BCIT Aboriginal Services office. A member of a visible minority group - a person who is non-Caucasian in race or non-white in colour.
