John S. Proctor Entrance Scholarship
CRITERIA
Candidates must be students in their final year of study in a secondary school who will be seeking admission into first-year undergraduate study at York University in any discipline. Candidates must possess a minimum admission average of 90% and will have other accomplishments such as leadership in community service, achievement in arts or sports, or excellence in other areas of individual endeavour which demonstrate the wholeness of the person and grace of character. Please note that only Canadian citizens/permanent residents/protected persons are eligible for these awards.
Citytv Vancouver Entrance Awards
An applicant must meet one of the following criteria: An Aboriginal person who is registered as a client with the BCIT Aboriginal Services office. A member of a visible minority group - a person who is non-Caucasian in race or non-white in colour.
George & Daisy Fraser Awards in Music
2 awards, $500 each; to continuing students in the Music program showing exceptional promise in piano, with a minimum GPA of 6.00 and recommendation of the Music department. No application necessary. Funds awarded as a tuition credit for the fall term.

Awarded on the recommendation of the Department of English to the winner of the Shakespeare Gold Medal. Value: $3,000.

1st or 2nd year Indigenous/Academic Studies, highest GPA for year. No application. Department selection.
E. Bruce Tregunna Prize in Plant Physiology
The award is made to an undergraduate student who has achieved an outstanding performance in Biology 351 and 352 and is made on the recommendation of the Department of Botany.
Jean Bolocan Memorial Prize
A prize of $40 is awarded to a student in the final year in the Faculty of Arts who is regarded by the Department of Psychology as the outstanding student in the graduating year.
Jessie Grant McGregor Memorial Bursary
These funds are used to assist a needy undergraduate student majoring in History or English.
Steve and Therese Peto Memorial Scholarship
The award is offered to an undergraduate student in the Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences and is made on the recommendation of the Department.
Fortis BC Scholarship in Engineering
A $2,500 scholarship is offered to a student entering third or fourth year in the Electrical Engineering Program in the Faculty of Applied Science at The University of British Columbia Okanagan. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty.
Brissenden Scholarship
Two scholarships of $1,500 each have been made available through the Vancouver Foundation by Mr. and Mrs. P.R. Brissenden for students who demonstrate promise in the field of Creative Writing. The scholarships are made on the recommendation of the Department of Creative Writing.
President's Scholarships
