A scholarship of $1000 s offered to students proceeding from the third year to the fourth year in Civil Engineering and focusing on structural engineering. The award is made to a student who has a good academic record and who, by his or her laboratory work, projects, summer and other experience, has demonstrated promise and ability in both the academic and practical aspects of engineering. In selecting the winner, consideration will also be given to the financial circumstances of those who are eligible.
