A $300 bursary is offered to women students in Home Economics. Preference is given to students in the Faculty of Education.
Economics Scholarship
Value $750. Awarded to the student or students entering the final year of the Honours program of studies, whose record of scholarship, in the opinion of the Department of Economics Scholarship Committee, merits special recognition.
BC Shellfish Industry Award
1 award, $750; for full-time students proceeding to fourth year in the Bachelor of Science in Fisheries & Aquaculture degree program, majoring in shellfish. Apply to Financial Aid & Awards office by April 30. Funds awarded as a tuition credit for the fall term.
Pat Wapple Award
1 award, $500; for achievement and commitment to studies; available to students in the Applied Business Technology Program. Based on recommendation of instructors and program area. No application necessary. Funds issued at graduation.
Prince of Wales Scholarship
Open to students proceeding from the intermediate year(s) into the final year. Awarded for general distinction by the Faculty of Arts on the student's complete academic record and on recommendations from departments in which they have taken their courses. Value: $1,000.
Zeev Vered Award
Established in 1980 by Mr. Zeev Vered, graduate of McGill University in 1954. For a student in Civil Engineering with a good academic record who needs financial assistance. Awarded on the recommendation of the Department. Value: $500.
H.R. Ressler Memorial Scholarship
To be given to a Violin student. Founded in 1950 by the late Mr. H.R. Ressler. Estimated value: $250.
W.M. Birks Awards
Awarded to the students graduating with the best records in the B.A. (Religious Studies), B.Th., S.T.M. or M.A. (Religious Studies) programs. Value: $200 each.
