An $18,000 fellowship is given to graduate students with excellent writing abilities who are well-read and have a demonstrated interest in a broad range of journalistic topics. The award is made on the recommendation of the School of Journalism.
Selection is based on academic standing in secondary school and/ or post-secondary studies. Other factors may be taken into consideration such as participation in school activities, community involvement and demonstrated leadership qualities.
