One scholarship of $1,000 a year for two years, is awarded to a student beginning studies in the Faculty of Medicine toward the M.D. degree. The award is made, on the recommendation of the Dean of Medicine and the Screening Committee, to one student selected on the basis of outstanding promise and personal qualities.
