The recipient of this award will be a Comox Valley student who has completed first year English in the preceding term and who has successfully completed at least two other first year university transfer courses. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the highest grades achieved in the first year English course. First year English shall be understood to mean courses in composition and literature that have transfer credit with the universities in BC.
