Susan Davies Memorial Bursary
An award fund has been established by V. Neal Davies and family to provide an annual award of $700 for a female student who has completed the first year of full-time study in the university transfer program at the Penticton Campus of Okanagan College, and who will return the following September for the second year of full-time study in that program at that campus. Preference will be given to a student taking courses related to a career in criminology, law or a similar program. Applicants must include a personal statement with their application which includes a brief biography and their career plans. Selection of the award recipient will be based on a combination of academic achievement and financial need, with emphasis on financial need.
David Paul Rice Memorial Award
1 award, $250; for financial need; available to students normally residing on Vancouver Island from Campbell River north. Apply to Financial Aid & Awards office by January 15. Funds issued in March.
Tom & Josie Michael Memorial Award
1 award, $400; for financial need; available to first year students whose permanent residence is in Ladysmith, Cedar, or North Oyster district. Apply to Financial Aid & Awards office by January 15. Funds issued in March.
Rick Davidson Memorial Bursary
1 bursary, $200; for financial need; available to residents of the Cowichan Valley.
Alexander Mackenzie Scholarships
