The British Columbia Wine Information Society has established an annual award of $500 for a student who has completed the Winery Assistant Certificate program at the Penticton Campus of Okanagan College. The recipient must be a permanent resident of Canada. Selection of the award recipient will be based solely on academic achievement.
Selection is based on academic standing in secondary school and/ or post-secondary studies. Other factors may be taken into consideration such as participation in school activities, community involvement and demonstrated leadership qualities.
