Up to 87 entrance scholarships are available for regional secondary school graduates for study at Okanagan College. Recipients will receive a Certificate of Award representing a credit towards tuition fees to a maximum of $500 which can be applied toward full-time study (minimum 80% course load) in any university transfer, degree, diploma, vocational, trades or health certificate program (of at least five months duration) at Okanagan College. Candidateswill be Canadian Citizens or Landed Immigrants. To qualify, secondary school graduating students must have demonstrated a combination of academic achievement*, financial need, and service to their school and/or community (* cumulative grade average of not less than 76% (B+) based on all grade 11 and 12 courses). Recipients are selected by the secondary schools using the criteria provided by the College. Each secondary school in the Okanagan College region is eligible for a minimum of one scholarship and a maximum of six scholarships, based upon their Grade XII enrolment.
