The Betty Rheaume Memorial Bursary
Donated by Mr. Urgel Rheaume in memory of his esteemed spouse, the late Betty Rheaume, a devoted nurse and community leader, who always encouraged the youth with whom she worked to develop to their full potential despite life's obstacles. Value: $500. Recipient: a full-time student entering any year of the Nursing program. Preference is given to students who perform volunteer work in the community, are self-motivated, have overcome obstacles to succeed academically, are Ontario residents as defined by OSAP, and have demonstrated financial need. Students must present a letter that explains how they meet criteria. Application required.
