Irene Shoop Memorial Awards
2 awards, $1,000 each; available to Canadian Citizens and graduates of School District #68, who are entering their final year of study in Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Malaspina University-College. The award will recognize students who demonstrate both commitment and compassion. Applicants must submit an essay stating why they believe they qualify for the award. Personal qualities must be endorsed by faculty (attach letter of reference). Short-listed applicants will be forward to the Shoop family for final selection. Apply to Financial Aid & Awards office by April 30. Funds awarded as a tuition credit for the fall term.
