Conditions: To be awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement specializing in Horticulture upon completion of the third year of studies. Students must be enrolled full-time in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences To be eligible for the award at the end of the third year, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 (all courses applied toward degree) with at least 3.5 on Plant Science courses. In addition, university related extracurricular activities and horticulturally related summer employment experience will be considered.
Selection is based on academic standing in secondary school and/ or post-secondary studies. Other factors may be taken into consideration such as participation in school activities, community involvement and demonstrated leadership qualities.
