Alberta Chicken Producers Awards
Conditions: To be awarded annually to students with satisfactory academic standing of at least 3.3 entering third or fourth year of the Bachelor of Science Agriculture degree program specializing in Animal Science, or the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural/Food Business Management program, or the Bachelor of Science Nutrition and Food Science degree program and are enrolled in a course involving poultry related projects. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of strong communication skills, a demonstrated commitment to the poultry industry and a demonstrated desire to relate to primary producers in the poultry industry. Preference will be given to students doing work that is applicable for chicken production.
