Conditions: Awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering the second or third year of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture program, the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural/Food Business Management program, or the Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science program in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences. Recipient will be selected on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by community involvement and extracurricular activities. Financial need will be considered. Preference will be given to a student from a farming or ranching family where the primary income of the family is derived from the farm or ranch. A student may only receive one Bar None Scholarship or Award in any given academic year.
