Lethbridge District 4-H Council Scholarship
Applicants must have:
-minimum three (3) years spent as a 4-H member in the Lethbridge District;
-4-H involvement;
-contribution to community;
-may only receive 1/year, but can apply in subsequent years.
Reference letters are required.
TimberWest Forest Corp. Entrance Award
Preference will be given to applicants in the following order: Applicants from Campbell River, the Comox Valley, Nanaimo/Ladysmith, the Cowichan Valley, Vancouver Island North, Port Alberni, or Parksville/Qualicum. Other applicants entering the program.
Filberg Park Garden Show Award
1 award, $250; available to students from SD #71 (Comox Valley) who are continuing studies in horticulture or related programs, with a preference to students with an interest in heritage gardens. Apply to Financial Aid & Awards office by March 31. Funds issued in April.
Dr. Carl Opgaard Scholarship
1 award, $600; for first year GPA and on faculty recommendation; available to Performing Arts students entering second year. No application necessary. Funds awarded as a tuition credit for the fall term.
Able Computer and Electronics Bursary
Established by Able Computer and Electronics, three $500 bursaries awarded to full-time, special needs students in any year of any program and can demonstrate financial need. Bursary application required.
RICHARD LEVESQUE MEMORIAL PRIZE
Awarded to a student entering the final undergraduate year of a B.Sc.(Agr.)/B.Sc.(Ag.Env.Sc.) program. To qualify, students should have high academic standing and preference is given to a student who is active in the campus sports program and participates in student organizations. Value: $500.
