Special Graduate Entrance Scholarship
One semester awards between $2,000 and $7,000 to students entering a new graduate program at Simon Fraser University. To be eligible, a student must show academic excellence and proof that he/she is being actively recruited by another university. Students must be nominated by their graduate program chair in their intended department to the dean of graduate studies.
Samuel and Amalia Rosnau Memorial Scholarship
An annual $500 award to a student enrolled in a church work program. The recipient must display academic promise and demonstrate financial need.
Canadian Hospitality Foundation Culinary Excellence Award
1 award, $500; available to Culinary Arts students continuing to the last level of the program, for professional promise, demonstrated culinary skills, scholastic work, financial need and extracurricular activities. Department nomination submitted in May of each year.
BC Shellfish Industry Award
1 award, $750; for full-time students proceeding to fourth year in the Bachelor of Science in Fisheries & Aquaculture degree program, majoring in shellfish. Apply to Financial Aid & Awards office by April 30. Funds awarded as a tuition credit for the fall term.
J.B. Woodyatt Scholarships
Established to commemorate the late J.B. Woodyatt, Electrical Engineering, 1907, for students who have completed a minimum of one year in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Awarded on the basis of scholastic ability. Value: $2,000 each.
The Leone Betty Blackwell Memorial Book Prize (S, SS)
