The award will be presented to an aboriginal woman enrolled full-time in College and Career Preparation or a post-secondary program at the Terrace Campus of Northwest Community College. The recipient must demonstrate goal orientation, leadership and commitment to the well being of aboriginal women and their families (social-economically, politically, culturally or spiritually).
Selection is based on academic standing in secondary school and/ or post-secondary studies. Other factors may be taken into consideration such as participation in school activities, community involvement and demonstrated leadership qualities.
All students with greater than or equal to 4.0 admission average are eligible.
