The award is made to an undergraduate student in Engineering who is a Canadian citizen and who has demonstrated strong qualities of leadership, combined with active participation in sports. In selecting the candidate, consideration will also be given to academic standing and financial need. The award is made by the Faculty of Applied Science in consultation with the Engineering Undergraduate Society.
Selection is based on academic standing in secondary school and/ or post-secondary studies. Other factors may be taken into consideration such as participation in school activities, community involvement and demonstrated leadership qualities.
