One award is made to a visa student from the People's Republic of China who is pursuing post-baccalaureate studies and demonstrates outstanding academic achievement and promise. A second award is made to a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of similar academic calibre. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
