The purpose of this award is to recognize achievement of excellence in fine arts. The recipient of this award will be a North Island College student who has successfully completed the Fine Arts Diploma program. The award will be granted on the basis of their academic achievement and demonstrated excellence in the student's chosen fine arts discipline. Fine Arts faculty and a representative of the Fine Arts Advisory Committee will nominate and select the recipient in conjunction with the College-wide Awards Committee. A secondary consideration will be the student's intent to pursue a career in a fine arts discipline or to pursue further post-secondary education in fine arts.
