Okanagan College International Study Exchange Awards (for Non-Specific Schools)
Six awards of $1,500 each for students who:
- are Canadian Citizens or landed immigrants;
- have completed one or more years of full-time study in a university transfer, degree or diploma program at any campus of Okanagan College; and
- will be enrolled full-time in an International Study Exchange which commences during the 2007/2008 academic year.
Selection of award recipients will be based on academic achievement and financial need.
Tadeusz Specht Memorial Scholarships
There are 40 awards valued at $3500 over two terms.
Berk's Intertruck Award
1 award, $1,000; available to students in the Heavy Duty / Commercial Transport Mechanics program. No application necessary, based on recommendation of faculty. Funds issued at graduation.
McGill Alumnae Society Prizes
Two prizes presented upon graduation to distinguished students for excellence and high academic standing. Preference given to women students. One prize is available for a student in Engineering and the other for a student in Architecture. Value: $150 each.

Muir Family Bursary
This entrance award is available to a full-time or part-time student entering NIC from School District No. 71. The recipient must have graduated from City Centre School or NIDES with a C+ average and be enrolling in college or university level courses at NIC.
Optometry Office of Mary Lynn DesRoches Bursary
This entrance bursary is available to a female student enrolling at the Comox Valley Campus in a science program. The recipient must have a demonstrated financial need and be attending on a full-time or part-time (minimum of three courses) basis.
Dean of Forestry Scholarship
Scholarships totalling $15,000 have been endowed by alumni and friends of the Faculty of Forestry for undergraduate students in the faculty. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Forestry.
Jaswant Kaur Manhas Memorial Scholarship in Medicine
A $1,300 scholarship, endowed by Kashmir Singh Manhas in memory of his wife, Jaswant Kaur Manhas, is awarded on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine to an outstanding medical student entering final year.
Frank Vernon Memorial Scholarship
Scholarships totalling $8,000 are made on the recommendation of the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
Agricultural Bursary
An $900 bursary has been endowed for a student in Land and Food Systems from a rural area, other than the Fraser Valley, who has completed at least the first year.

Margaret Lowe Benston Memorial Graduate Bursary in Women's Studies

Vancouver Foundation First Nations Bursary
