John and Marie MacKenzie provide two annual awards of $1,000 each for mature students (as per the Okanagan College Calendar definition) enrolled in the Practical Nursing Program at the Kelowna Campus of Okanagan College (one award for each intake of the program). Preference will be given to students laddering into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at UBC-Okanagan. Recipients must be Canadian Citizens or Landed Immigrants, and permanent residents of the Okanagan College region. Selection of award recipients will be based on financial need.
