The J.L.W. Gill Prizes (S)
Nine scholarships to be awarded on the basis of Cumulative Averages to students who have completed Level I and an additional 58 - 75 units of Honours B.Sc. programs. Ordinarily, not more than one scholarship will be awarded in any one discipline.
Ernst & Young Award
Value $250. Awarded annually to the student with the highest standing in the First year of the Business program. Donor: Ernst & Young, formerly Clarkson, Gordon & Company.
University Transfer Scholarship
University students who transfer to Concordia with a minimum of 24 transferable university-level credits may be eligible for the University Transfer Scholarship, a one-time award of $1,500.
Delinea Design Consultants Award
1 award, $500; available to students in the Interior Design program, awarded for excellence in drafting and an inclination, aptitude or interest in architecture. Based on faculty recommendation. No application necessary. Funds issued in April.
Lionel Hennessy Memorial Scholarship
1 award, $350; available to an outstanding student in the Jazz program, as nominated by faculty, based on musicianship, personal qualities and potential to contribute to Canadian music. No application necessary. Funds issued in March.
Jack McReady Award
1 award, $500; for achievement and commitment to studies; available to students in any applied program, including Applied Business Technology. Based on recommendation of instructors and program area. No application necessary. Funds awarded at graduation.
Frank Mills Scholarship
Awarded annually to a deserving student in the Schulich School of Music for excellence in performance and/or composition. Established in 1988 through a generous gift from Frank Mills, a former student of the Faculty. Estimated value: $1,500.
