W.H. Collins Memorial Scholarship
Value $10,000 over four years, ($2,500 per year). Awarded annually to a student entering the first year of the Geology program. This award was endowed in 1994 to commemorate W.H. Collins for his outstanding achievement in the earth sciences including the directorship of the Geological Survey of Canada from 1920-1936.
David Carton MacDonald Memorial Award
Value $300. Awarded annually, on the recommendation of the Chair of the Department of English Language and Literature, to the student with highest standing in the graduating class in Honours English who has a special interest in modern literature.
G. Stafford Whitby Prize in Polymer Chemistry
Established in 1981 by Dr. Jacob Dolid in honour of the late Professor G. Stafford Whitby. Awarded, on recommendation of the Department of Chemistry, to the undergraduate student with the highest grade in the Introductory Polymer Chemistry course. Value: $350.
The Class of '92 Science Legacy Award (S)
To be awarded to a graduating full-time student who, in the judgment of the Faculty of Science, has demonstrated notable academic achievement; contributed to the program, and participated in extra-curricular activities during his/her time at McMaster.
The Political Science Prize (SS)
To be awarded to a graduating student who has completed a program in Political Science primarily on a part-time basis and who, in the judgment of the Department of Political Science, has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.
The Somerville Scholarships (O)

Ahmad Bhimani Memorial Scholarship

Diana and P. A. E. Irving Bursary
Bursaries of $1,000 each totalling $44,000 have been endowed by the late Diana Ogilvy Irving. The awards are made to students in the Faculty of Law, who without financial assistance would have difficulty in pursuing their studies. Preference is given to native born British Columbians.
Darlene J. Thomas Memorial Award in Dental Hygiene
The award is granted to a dental hygiene student graduating with a B.D.Sc. Award recipients are chosen on the basis of high scholastic achievement as well as commitment, vision, leadership and professionalism. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Dentistry.
Suzanna Seto Scholarship
