Conditions: To be awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement who has completed the requirements in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta and has been accepted into a Veterinary Medicine program at a Canadian university. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and involvement in extracurricular activities, especially those of the Faculty. Proof of enrolment in a Veterinary Medicine program in Canada for the immediate next academic session must be submitted in order to receive the scholarship funding. This scholarship cannot be deferred and is restricted to students who completed Grade 12 at a high school in Alberta, the Yukon, the Northwest Territories or Nunavut.
