Conditions: Awarded to an Alberta resident with superior academic achievement entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program in the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry, and Home Economics who plans to enroll in one or more agriculture or human ecology courses upon completion of first year. Recipient will be selected on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by community involvement and extracurricular activities. Preference will be given to a student from a rural Alberta farming family. Receipt of funding for the second year is contingent upon superior academic achievement and continuation in the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry, and Home Economics.
