Conditions: To be awarded annually to students with superior academic achievement entering the first year of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree program in the Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry, and Home Economics at the University of Alberta. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of leadership qualities as demonstrated by involvement in extra-curricular and community activities and academic standing. Receipt of the funding for the second year is contingent upon the achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a full normal course load (ie. 30 Credits) in the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree program.
