STIPULATIONS:
-Recipients must be continuing students enrolled in three or more courses in a UCFV credit program (UCFV will confirm enrollment before funds are released).
-Preference will be given to students who are enrolled in courses whose content deals with the social or political issues in Canadian society that impact women, or who have volunteer experience directly relating to women's issues in Canada.
-Recipient must be a Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant.
-A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
-Applicants must have strong evidence of financial need.
Selection is based on academic standing in secondary school and/ or post-secondary studies. Other factors may be taken into consideration such as participation in school activities, community involvement and demonstrated leadership qualities.
Value $1000. Awarded annually, on the recommendation of the Dean of Engineering and Design, to an outstanding student proceeding from Third to Fourth year of an Engineering program.
