EXERCISE SCIENCE ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP
AVAILABLE TO: A student in the Kinesiology degree program who has accumulated a minimum of 60 credits (3rd or 4th year student). Preference will be given to a student in the Exercise Physiology stream who has strong academic standing in both applied and natural sciences.
STIPULATIONS:
-Applicants must demonstrate excellent written and communication skills
-Presents evidence of extensive involvement in their community in the areas of health, fitness, wellness and/or coaching
-Applicants must submit a letter detailing their interests in kinesiology, career and educational goals
-Submit two letters of reference with at least one supporting the community involvement aspect of the application.

Awarded to Grade 12 students on the basis of both financial need and satisfactory high school standing entering from Western Manitoba in any program.

Established in 1980 by the family in memory of David (B.Eng. 1975, Mechanical Engineering, Honours Program) and Ronnie Schouela. For an Honours Mechanical Engineering student on the basis of academic performance and financial need. Awarded on the recommendation of the Department. Value: $1,000.
THE GOLDEN VIOLIN AWARD
Established in 2006 through a generous gift from Canadian philanthropist Seymour Schulich. Awarded by the Schulich School of Music Scholarships Committee to an undergraduate, graduate, or diploma student in the Schulich School of Music who demonstrates exceptional potential in the String area.
