The award has been endowed by the Environmental Engineering Group UBC, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, Environment Canada, the British Columbia Ministry of Environment and the American Society of Civil Engineers. The award is made on the recommendation of the Environmental Engineering Group of the Department of Civil Engineering in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
