The award is offered to a Masters degree student in Geological Sciences, Geological Engineering or Geophysics in the Department of Earth and Ocean Science and is renewable for a second year. It is made on the recommendation of the Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
