Bursaries totalling $2,300 for students in the Faculty of Law have been endowed by the Class of Law 1958 in honour of their forty-fifth anniversary.
Underhill Prize
Value $200. Awarded annually, on the recommendation of the Department of History, to the graduating student with the highest overall GPA in the Honours History program.
Rotary Club of Nanaimo - Helmut Graf International Awards
2 awards, $350 each; available to presently enrolled students planning to pursue further studies outside Canada. Must be graduates of a Nanaimo High School. Apply to Financial Aid & Awards office by April 30. Funds awarded as a tuition credit for the fall term.
The Harry L. Penny Prize (SS)
To be awarded to the student with the highest Cumulative Average in a Social Work program.
The Robert Sowerby Memorial Scholarship (E)
To be awarded to a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Technology program who, in the judgment of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, has demonstrated notable academic achievement.
The Tinnerman Palnut Engineered Products Scholarship in Mechanical Engineering (E)
To be awarded to a student entering Level II of a Mechanical Engineering Program who, in the judgment of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, has achieved notable academic standing and demonstrated qualities of leadership at McMaster or in the community.
Port Alberni 2004 Winter Games Legacy Scholarship
This entrance scholarship is available to a North Island College student enrolling in university studies at the Port Alberni Campus. The recipient must be working towards the completion of a degree in sports medicine, kinesiology, physiotherapy, or similar field.
