Hon. Thomas A. Dohm, QC, Scholarship in Law
A scholarship of $1,400 has been endowed by The Hon. Thomas A. Dohm, B.A., Q.C., LL.D., former Chairman of the Board of Governors of the University of British Columbia, for a student completing first or second year of studies in the Faculty of Law who (i) has achieved high academic standing in law courses concerned with human relations; (ii) is in financial need; and (iii) has demonstrated by his or her involvement in student or community affairs a concern for others. Application forms are made available in February and completed forms must be submitted to the Office of the Associate Dean of Law by March 31. The award is made in May.

Awarded on an annual basis to a deserving student who is entering the final year in the Bachelor of Science program in Computer Science. Awarded by the Faculty of Science Scholarships Committee on the recommendation of the School of Computer Science. Value: $1,500.

This award is available to a student entering the Home Support/Resident Care Attendant program at North Island College's Campbell River Campus. The recipient must have a demonstrated financial need and have successfully met the entrance requirements of the program.
