Teck Cominco Limited Scholarship in Mining
A $4,000 scholarship is offered by Teck Cominco to a student entering the penultimate year of the undergraduate program in Mining Engineering. The scholarship is renewable for the final year provided scholarship standing is maintained. Preference is given to candidates who are eligible to work in Canada, demonstrate leadership skills, have a sincere interest in the mining and metallurgical industry, and show promise for a successful career in the industry. The award is made on the recommendation of the Department of Mining Engineering.
