B.C. Human Resources Management Association Scholarship
A scholarship of $1,000 and a one year membership in the Association has been made available by the Human Resources Management Association of British Columbia. The award is made to a student entering the fourth year in the Human Resource Management option of the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration. While the award is based mainly on scholastic achievement, participation in university and community activities may also be considered in the event of a tie. In addition, HRMA will provide a free registration package to the annual conference.
Carl J. Hennig Memorial Scholarship
An annual $500 award to a second-year student with a declared interest in a full-time church vocation in Lutheran Church-Canada. The recipient must present a minimum GPA of 2.7, be registered in 30 credits, and be active in his or her local congregation.
Laurentian University Entrance Bursaries

Colin C. Gourlay Medal and Prize
A silver medal and a cash prize of $100, offered by the Faculty of Commerce, is awarded to the student standing second in the graduating class for the B.Com. degree.
K. B. Mathur Prize
The prize is awarded, on the recommendation of the Department, to the Chemical Engineering student with the best final oral presentation in his or her undergraduate thesis (CHML 492).
Hal Straight Gold Medal and Prize in Journalism
A gold medal and $500 prize is offered to the most outstanding graduate student in Journalism and is made on the recommendation of the School.
