The bursary is available to a graduate of the Human Service Worker Certificate program at NIC. The recipient must have demonstrated financial need and have shown a commitment to community service. The award will alternate between the Port Alberni Campus and the Comox Valley Campus, with some flexibility in the case of an exceptional student or special deliveries of the program in other communities.
