Native Sons & Canadian Daughters Bursary
These bursaries are available to North Island College students who reside in the Comox Valley. The recipients must have completed at least one full-year of study and be continuing their education on a full-time basis at NIC. Preference will be given to a member or relative of the Native Sons or Canadian Daughters. The recipients must have a demonstrated financial need. The bursaries will be applied to tuition upon registration.
K. T. W. Scholarship
An annual $250 award to a student enrolled in their final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Science degree with a declared major in Chemistry. The recipient must present a minimum GPA of 3.7 and demonstrate financial need.
Gordon M. Shrum Scholarships
Canadian citizens and permanent residents only. Application required, including additional documentation. Only students with an average of 90% and above should apply
Pacific Rim Academy of Chefs Awards

Clifford C.F. Wong Scholarship (Management)
Endowed in 1989 by the late Clifford C.F. Wong, B.Arch. (1960) to recognize distinguished academic standing. Awarded by the Faculty of Management Scholarships Committee to a continuing student having completed at least one year in the Bachelor of Commerce program. Value: $1,500.
Lefevre Medal and Prize in Honours Chemistry
It is awarded to the student standing highest in general proficiency and research ability in Honours Chemistry program in the Faculty of Science. The award is based on the work of the final two years of the course.
Stanley Coren Prize in Psychology
A $275 prize has been endowed by Stanley Coren. The prize is awarded on the recommendation of the Department of Psychology to a graduate student presenting an outstanding Master's thesis in psychology.
Margaret Croucher Memorial Award
The award is made at the beginning of the spring term, to a final year student who has shown a keen interest in all aspects of Rehabilitation Sciences. Preference is given to a mature student deserving of financial assistance.
Margaret Isabel McKellar Memorial Prize
The prize is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine, to a student demonstrating proficiency in the program leading to a degree in Medicine.
Ann McCullough Memorial Bursary
The bursary is awarded to a student in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems or a related discipline who requires financial assistance to complete his/her studies. Preference is given to a Canadian citizen from a rural or farm background.
Wilda Adams Memorial Scholarship
The award is made to a graduate student in Special Education in the Faculty of Education.
W.D. Powrie Scholarship in Food Science
The award is offered to a graduate student in the field of Food Science and is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Earl R. Peterson Memorial Scholarship in Civil Engineering
One or more scholarships totalling $2,400 are made to students with strong academic backgrounds undertaking graduate work in Water Resources on the recommendation of the Department of Civil Engineering.
Goel Scholarship in South Asian Studies
The award is made on the recommendation of the Department, to a student majoring in South Asian Studies (preferably in Hindi, Sanskrit or other languages of India).
Werner Forster Memorial Scholarship in Architecture
