The Okanagan Japanese United Church Bursary Endowment Fund has been established by the Okanagan Japanese United Church to provide an annual award of $500 for a student who has completed one or more years of full-time study in a university transfer, degree or diploma program at Okanagan College and who will be returning the following September for a subsequent year of full-time study. The recipient will be of Japanese descent or be a spouse or child of a person of Japanese descent and a member or the child of a member or former member of the Okanagan Japanese United Church. Selection of the award recipient will be based on a combination of academic achievement and financial need with an emphasis on financial need.
