The Okanagan British Car Club has established an annual award in memory of Gerry Hastings. The $500 award is for a student enrolled in the Automotive Service Technician program at Okanagan College, who expresses an interest in automotive restoration. Applicants must include a letter with their application outlining their interest in automotive restoration. Selection of the award recipient will be based on interest, achievement and financial need.
Postings and application forms are forwarded to the department each year to make available to eligible students. Completed applications must be received at the Student Services Welcome Centre by the posted deadline date.
