Francis H. Turton Memorial Scholarship
An award fund of $10,000 has been established by Doris E. Turton and Christopher L. Turton which, together with a matching donation from the Vancouver Foundation, will provide one or more annual awards for students who have completed at least one year of full-time study in a university transfer or degree program at Okanagan College and who are returning for a subsequent year of full-time study. Preference will be given to students from South or East Kelowna who have participated and demonstrated proficiency in team sports at the College, as well as proficiency in academic studies.
