The Gary Lautens Memorial Scholarship (O)
To be awarded to a student who has completed any Level I program who, in the judgment of a Selection Committee, has achieved notable academic standing and has demonstrated journalistic skills in the written media. The scholarship is tenable for up to two years provided the recipient maintains a Cumulative Average of 8.0. Students who wish to be considered for this award should consult the Office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships.
Students should submit an application to the Office of Student Financial Aid & Scholarships by April 15th. A 500 word essay and two examples of published material are required.
Associate of Science Degree Award ~ Second Year
The Associate of Science Degree Award ~ Second Year acknowledges high academic achievement and is given annually to a student in year Two of the Associate of Science Degree Program.

Lake Cowichan Combined Fire Organization Awards
2 awards, $300 each; to Forestry Resources Technology students who demonstrate an interest or career objective in fire protection, as recommended by faculty. No application necessary. Funds issued in March.
BC Restaurant & Foodservices Association Scholarship (2nd Year)
1 award, $500; for academic achievement and interest in pursuing further studies in the field; available to second year Hospitality Management students. No application necessary. Funds issued in April.
Carl Beaulieu Memorial Bursary
1 bursary, $500; for financial need; available to students enrolled in Carpentry & Residential Construction program. Preference will be given to students with union affiliation.
Helen Hall Prize
