The "Spirit of the Warrior Queen" is the name given by Shirley R. Adams, B.Sc. 1962, M.D., C.M. 1968, to the work of art she sculpted after her mother's death in recognition of the daily battles faced by her mother, Evelyn Szebik. Evelyn was widowed at the age of thiry-two and raised five children on her own.
