Chantal Malard Memorial Prize
Established in 1997 by the Education Undergraduate Society in memory of Chantal Malard, a former Education student. Awarded to a student who has demonstrated artistic ability, leadership qualities, and involvement in volunteer activities while maintaining a high academic standing. Awarded by the Faculty of Education's Committee on Student Affairs on recommendations from the Education Undergraduate Society. Value: minimum $1,600. Students must apply by April 1st. Emily Bronte Award
The Emily Bronte Award acknowledges academic achievement and is awarded to a student who has written an outstanding essay of literary analysis for a second-year Camosun College literature course.
Canadian Hospitality Foundation Culinary Excellence Award
1 award, $500; available to Culinary Arts students continuing to the last level of the program, for professional promise, demonstrated culinary skills, scholastic work, financial need and extracurricular activities. Department nomination submitted in May of each year.
Veronica Milner Memorial Award
1 award, $300; for Horticulture Technician students working hands-on in garden and woodland maintenance, design construction and documentation at Milner Gardens. No application necessary. Funds issued in June.
Ordre des Ingenieurs du Quebec Scholarship
To a final year student in the Faculty of Engineering who was educated in the Province of Quebec. Awarded on the basis of overall academic record. Value: $800.
